Delicious every time we have been to JW’s. The service is amazing, and the food (especially the brisket sandwich) has ALWAYS been extraordinary. We have encouraged others to try it, and have never had anything that has disappointed. (My husband also likes the potato salad).
Heard about this place. Everything I’ve heard is true. They are very friendly with excellent meat choices in various offerings of leanness. Very tender with great selection of sides. Clean inside. Good prices. Great for family.
Love JW’s…The Pulled Pork Sandwich is my favorite! Great TX BBQ, clean restaurant, friendly and inviting staff…The best place to dine in Jacksonville for sure. It has that small town, cozy feeling you want from a BBQ restaurant.
We stopped here after going to the tomato fest and I’m so glad we did! Delicious BBQ, best customer service we’ve had in a long time, and super clean eating area/bathrooms. The coolest part is you can even write on the walls which our 7 year old loved. Thanks for a great experience guys!
Weekday for lunch. Party of just 1. Excellent sliced beef brisket and sausage. Would have gotten ribs but were out. Highly recommend. Prices are reasonable. Clean, family style bbq joint. Good parking.
The brisket and ribs are my favorite fare, some of the most tender and delicious found in The Lone Star State! You will not be disappointed as customers queue up watching the performance as each order is sliced and chopped, served up with the friendliness only found in a small East Texas town. Get there early, sometimes they have been known to sell out!
JW’s Barbecue is top notch. Great food, extremely knowledgeable staff, and very clean. I highly recommended stopping by. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
